What bad luck.
Walking could be a good bet, it'll get you out and about and hopefully stop you from going stir crazy.
Take care and get better soon. My only advice from numerous broken things is to follow the physio exercises to the letter (even if they seem weird). You'll end up regaining your muscles and strength a lot faster.
Cheers CathMtbCathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12561009291722057752noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-201328869587996203.post-47654006912932495752009-01-06T09:56:00.000+13:002009-01-06T09:56:00.000+13:00Thanks for the offer Rita. Could bring it to chch in a couple of weeks when I come through. And get lots of DVDs to watch while you spin!Rita Langleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00817687350232578721noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-201328869587996203.post-44248969518128351382009-01-04T22:53:00.000+13:002009-01-04T22:53:00.000+13:00F*ck Mel! I used the windtrainer - the cast was fibreglass so could dry it out after all the sweating. Walking was good, but running not, the weight and abrasiveness of the cast was too much - sore neck/shoulder etc.
As soon as the cast was off, I was swimming - I'd lost heaps of strength in the triceps and could barely pick up a waterbottle with it. Within a week it was getting useful again. I'd recommend swimming once its mobile again. I was also told not to ride for 6 weeks after the cast came off, in case I fell on it again.
Hope you have a speedy recovery! :-)Johttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16528464640833395122noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-201328869587996203.post-58808874379797655392009-01-03T15:44:00.000+13:002009-01-03T15:44:00.000+13:00Ouchies!! Keep those legs spinning!

Heal well, and there's plenty of winter events to look forward to!CrazyChrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17124746511408745443noreply@blogger.com
